Payment Terms

Terms is granted to select few legacy customers and a select few new customers

  • Terms are granted solely at the discretion of the Finance team
  • Instead of charges and refunds on an order, you will see invoices and credits
  • Credits and invoices are distributed to the customer to the list set in their customer edit page
  • In the last year, the new terms agreements include a caveat that past due balances are charged against a backup credit card
  • Users associated with customers on terms will never have to select a payment method at checkout
  • If a users requests the use of terms, begin the conversation within the #askfinance channel on slack
